January 2017 ~ more self love, baby girl.

first of all, i would say, Happy Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai! May this year of rooster brings you luck, health, and everything's great.
I arrived home in the morning before new year, and just like usual new year, we had a family dinner on the night before, a small talk and that's all. On the first day of new year, we went to Maninjau. It is actually located at West Sumatra, which takes 8 hours or more from Riau to there. We leave home at eight in the morning and arrived at around one to Bukit Tinggi. We had a lunch which is Nasi Padang, and went to Koto Gadang at Bukit Tinggi.

nah, Koto Gadang is a place that have a same concept with China's The Great Wall. So basically, they called it Padang's The Great Wall. It has a great view over there, and i am just so in love with them. I and my bro went down, and took a couple of photos and others wait for us in the top just because they're too lazy to go down and climb the stairs. Finished from here, we drive to Maninjau that took around two hours. We stopped by Puncak Lawang. It's very windy there, the air is very strong, cold and clean. The view is amazing, it takes my breath away. The clouds, lake and mountain comes into one. I can't describe it to words nor the photos can describe it, because camera can't manage to take the exact things. you must see it yourself to believe what i say.

From Puncak Lawang, we went to find a hotel to stay. and it tooks 30minutes, we drive down near the lake. The hotel is right beside the lake, so when you open your bedroom's door, all you see is lake. its amazing.

the next morning, we had a breakfast in the hotel. and we are ready for home, but before that, we stopped by Puncak Lawang (again). and drive straight to home. it was very tired sitting in car doing nothing, but it's all worth it, ya at least for me ;)
